Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Erik Lehnsherr: Capable of planning a 20 year Nazi hunt with zero resources to speak of but not so much a 15 minute PR stunt or 5 minute press address.
Also, doesn’t know how to use a condom properly.
The End.
(No, but seriously, that’s like the entire plot of the movie. “If Erik L. had forward thinking and long term planning skills we wouldn’t be in this mess: A dissertation by Raven Xavier”.)
Spoilers: When he turned those sentinels on the crowd I was like “Good Call!” and when he came over with the stadium, I was like, “Now use that as a shield. Save everybody. And set yourself up as The Savior a la that one episode of the 4400.”
But apparently not.

Actually if you have a baby, this is basically your (baby’s) life for a couple of months.

Winston is the best-est. He’s all, “You are my human. Forever and ever and ever and ever. Hi Will! Hi!”
Meanwhile, his brother’s are like, “Nya-nya, Dad went all the way out into the snow to get me that one time I ran away so there!”
Don’t worry Winston, you’re still everyone’s favorite.

During the 16th century, it was believed that each demon had more strength during a special month of the year. So people born on those moths are influenced by them.
Belial in January
Leviathan in February
Satan in March
Belphegor in April
Lucifer in May
Berith in…Wait, Satan and Lucifer are separate entities? I thought they were names for the same entity, before and after the fall.
At the risk of being theologically dismissive, ‘Lucifer’ is entirely noncanonical garbage, so nobody has a monopoly what it means.
In Hebrew, a ‘satan’ is literally an adversary. The one who shows up in Job — who gets a definite article, so he’s The Adversary, instead of just one among many — is about as evil as a prosecuting attorney.
The Fall, at least Biblically speaking, refers to Adam and Eve’s disobedience and expulsion from the garden. You can maybe, if you squint at Isaiah and deliberately misread some Ezekiel, suss out a pre-human narrative that involves God vs. Some Other Maybe Heavenly Dudes, but it involves already knowing what you want to see. You have to get into I Enoch to pick up the stuff about angels with personalities and internal celestial conflicts, and even though it’s clear at least some of the biblical writers had read it, Enoch itself doesn’t make the cut and basically nobody’s heard of it. So for the most part, your big charismatic winged angels and wars in heaven aren’t canon, they’re Milton.
Someday I want to teach a class called All The Shit You Think Is In The Bible, But Isn’t. The final exam asks how many wise men there were.
YYYYEEESSS.
But no joke, it wasn’t until I read Paradise Lost and Dante’s Inferno Senior Yr @ college that I realized how true this was.

- In the book, Margot is attempting to get pregnant so that she can inherit the Verger fortune.
- In the book, she asks Mason to impregnate her girlfriend, Judy.
- But Fuller is not doing the explicit incest/rape/sexual abuse thing in the NBC show.
- However, Margot still needs a way to get knocked…
